Sweet cherries
This maybe a bit boring to some but to me it’s a wonder, we planted our first cherry tree out in the orchard, but the birds always eat them before they got ripe . So I planted a sweet cherry tree in the fruit cage along with two morello cherry trees . This is a good year for cherries and I picked my first lot of eating cherries this morning. There is still lots more to ripen.

Lucky you! We never see a cherry from ours - maybe it's the birds here too.
