This maybe a bit boring to some but to me it’s a wonder, we planted our first cherry tree out in the orchard, but the birds always eat them before they got ripe . So I planted a sweet cherry tree in the fruit cage along with two morello cherry trees . This is a good year for cherries and I picked my first lot of eating cherries this morning. There is still lots more to ripen.
Lucky you! We never see a cherry from ours - maybe it's the birds here too.
Must try a net for next year!

Yum yum yum. So not boring. Our Morellos are not ready yet but we have been good this year and remembered to net the tree before the birds get them. x
