This Rowan tree I planted as a sapling it was free from Home base, they had a promotion going on in December 2009 to plant a sapling tree in your garden . We did as this tree has red berries in winter we thought it would be ideal for the birds in winter . Now look at it it’s over 40 feet high and blossom galore .
Planting trees is such a great environmental act.
And that one will keep away witches too - an added bonus!! 😊

how lovely that you got it free, we have a tree with berries, i can't remember what kind right now, it will come to me, but the birds love them.

A lovely tree. We had a couple at our last house. The birds loved the berries.
They also call it the mountain Ash.
